Formé à Nancy (FR) en 2009, WHEELFALL fait partie de ces groupes à l’intégrité sans faille, se jouant de l’industrie du disque en adoptant une démarche indépendante et DIY. Après avoir répandu son stoner/sludge teinté de doom sur nombre de scènes avec des artistes comme Sungrazer, Ramesses, Moonspell, Karma to Burn, Punish Yourself etc. à un volume indésirable, ainsi que sur un EP, un SPLIT et un album unanimement accueillis par la presse internationale, WHEELFALL est de retour en 2015 après 1 an et demi d’absence totale… Le temps de préparer un nouvel album.
WHEELFALL fait désormais évoluer sa musique vers des horizons plus libres et extrêmes, développant sans compromis la noirceur des thèmes du groupe abordés dans chacun de ses concept-albums. Mêlant une imposante et puissante masse sonore à des atmosphères plus ésotériques, l’univers dystopique, violent et psychologique de WHEELFALL prend tout son sens lors de lives brutaux et émotionnellement chargés, où le son joue un rôle primordial.

Having spread its stoner/sludge, doom tinted music on number of stages with artists such as Sungrazer, Ramesses, Moonspell, Karma to Burn, Punish Yourself etc. at an undesirable volume, as well as on an EP, a SPLIT album, and an album unanimously critically acclaimed, WHEELFALL is back in 2015 after 1 year and a half of total absence. The time to prepare a new album.
WHEELFALL s music is now evolving towards more free and extreme horizons, developing with no compromise the darkness of the themes that the band broaches in each concept album. Combining an imposing and powerful sound mass with more esoteric atmospheres, the dystopian, violent and psychological world of WHEELFALL is fully realized during the brutal and emotionally charged live shows of the band, where the sound plays a key role.
